Q. What age is Wipeout Arena for?
A. With features suitable for all the family, it’s an indoor assault course for children and adults alike.
Q. Can non-walkers/babes in arms go into the main arena/hall where the inflatables are?
A. Yes, but they must be accompanied by an adult (16+ years old). But, non-walkers/babes in arms are not permitted to go on the inflatables unless it’s during a Wipeout Tots session (first session of the day 10am – 11am), and they must be accompanied on the inflatable by a paying adult. If the adult is only supervising the non-walker/babe in arms and both are not going on the inflatables, they do not need to pay.
Q. Are children under the age of 4 allowed on the inflatables?
A. Yes, but for their own safety, we recommend children under 4 attend our Wipeout Tots session, as they are then able to use all the inflatables without older children attending. If the adult (16+ years) wants to go on the inflatables, they need to pay too. At all other times, under-4s are allowed, however we recommend an adult stays with them at all times. Please note, only under-4s are allowed at the Wipeout Tots sessions.
Q. What if I have a 4 year old, or under, and also a child older than 4 years old - can I bring them both together?
A. Yes, but we recommend those under 4 to attend the Wipeout Tots session at 10am-11am, as they will then be able to enjoy all the inflatables without other children around. If you want them to jump in the same session then you must book them on the standard sessions. During our standard jump sessions, under 4s are allowed, however they must be supervised by an adult.
Q. Do I have to make a booking in advance or can I just turn up?
A. We highly advise making a booking before you attend. This is because we can get fully booked to capacity and may have to turn you away if you have no booking with us. You are required to complete a waiver form ahead of your session.
Q. I have already made a booking, but want to add on extra people, can I do this?
A. Yes we will do our best to accommodate your request. Initially, view the booking page and check availability. If the session time is full, contact us through the enquiry tab and we will look to identify an alternative solution. Please note, the later you leave it the less likely it is we can do this, so please give us as much notice as possible.
Q. I need to change my booking time/session
A. Any change/cancellation made with more than 24 hours’ notice to the start of the session booked will be rearranged for another more convenient time and date. However this booking is not eligible for a refund and will never be then eligible for a refund once moved, even if cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice on the next occasion. Any cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice of the start of the session booked will not be refunded or moved to an alternative day or time, and any alternative session booked will be charged at the standard admission prices.
Q. Do I have to wear socks?
A. Yes, but these will be supplied as part of the booking
Q. What clothing should I wear?
A. We strongly advise the wearing of a thin long sleeved top and long pants as, with all inflatables, friction burns can occur on exposed skin when performing certain activities, especially slides.
Q. Are there any height or weight restrictions?
A. There are no weight limits, but on the Free Fall there is a height restriction of 1.2m. This is to ensure everybody's safety.
Q. Do you have a refund policy?
A. Whilst we do our best to accommodate customers, we do not offer refunds, however we are able to rearrange your session for a more convenient time and date, as long as your booking is made with more than 24 hours’ notice to the start of the session, and there are available spaces on the session. Any cancellation made with less than 24 hours’ notice at the start of the session booked will not be refunded or moved to an alternative day or time, and any alternative session booked will be charged at the standard admission price.
Q. Is it legal to not offer refunds?
A. Yes, we have reviewed the relevant regulations, and as a ‘leisure activity’, which is understood to include courses or classes which will be attended on a specific date with a specified number of attendees, there is no obligation for a 14-day cooling off period, or requirement for a refund to be given. We are following these regulations in order to ensure we have the correct number of people on any given timeslot, in order to maintain our health and safety standards.
Q. I am allergic to latex. Does the arena contain latex?
A. No. The arena is not made with any latex.
Q. Where can we find the waiver form online?
A. The waiver form is located as part of the booking process on the website. 16 year olds can sign their own waiver form but cannot sign for anyone else. You must be 18 years of age or over to sign for anyone else. Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) bouncing or spectating.
Q. Who can sign the waiver form?
A. You must be 18 years or over to sign the waiver form for bouncers. If you are 16 you can sign for yourself but no one else.
Q. What time should we arrive at the venue?
A. Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow time for check-in and your safety briefing. Late arrivals will not have any lost time in the arena compensated.
Q. What sessions are available for people with a disability or autism or other learning disabilities?
A. Sessions like these are ones we are looking to introduce in the near future.
Q. Will all inflatables be available on the day?
A. Due to restrictions on the size of individual halls, we will not always be able to have all the obstacles available at every session. Although we cannot guarantee certain obstacles or games, we will do our best to have a good variety of obstacles to keep everyone excited at every Wipeout Arena event.
Q. I have booked the wrong slot time/session. Can I change this to another timeslot?
A. Yes, as long as there is still availability on the timeslot you wish to move to, and you give us more than 24 hours’ notice for the change, then we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note, we do not respond to messages on a Saturday or Sunday due to running the events, so you will need to contact us before the weekend to ensure your booking is amended. Q. Is there somewhere to keep valuables, such as keys or money?
A. Yes. As our events take place in leisure centres, you are able to use locker facilities in the changing rooms at the leisure centre. Please note, some leisure centres require a refundable coin, so please bring change if you wish to use the lockers.
